“I'm picky about which newsletters I subscribe to. They must give me a new perspective... Katie's newsletter hits the mark for me. Her writing is brilliant while remaining consumable. She takes an everyday topic and shifts it into an intellectual exploration that only the deeply curious can do.
I look forward to seeing the wheels of Katie's mind manifest right before my eyes in my inbox.”

Far from being limiting, your boundaries can provide the necessary framework for smarter decisions — and ultimately deeper value. We Can't Thrive on Flat Land
Our behaviors have created an economy unfit for people. We must now recenter it on value or risk our own destruction.meet your guide: Katie Burkhart
I'm Katie and I write WTP. I’ve been told that my superpower is not only asking good questions, but also answering the question you asked, the question you meant to ask, and the question you didn’t know you needed to ask.
My process for getting there always starts with one question: "What’s the point?" From there, every question that follows — How did we get here? Does the original point still hold? What do we gain or lose with a different approach? — is about gaining clarity and understanding.
WTP is where I share this process of inquiry. It’s a place to practice thinking more deeply so we can make choices that make the most of our time — because that’s what the value economy is all about.
